Protecting our assets through intentional management
Your voice matters
Click here to request your ballot by 4/25. EagleVail’s Metro District Board elections on on May 2nd and you as a Colorado resident can vote by mail if you request a ballot in time.
Some important notes:
Requests for absentee ballots must be received by 5pm on April 25th to debbie@mwcpaa.com
You ballot must be received by 7pm on election day, so mail it at least a few days earlier!
You can also vote in-person on election day (May 2nd) at the EagleVail pavilion located at 538 Eagle Road Avon, CO 81620 from 7am to 7pm
Non-resident owners are under represented on the board due largely to the difficulty of voting. Important issues for things like capital projects, water rights ownership and asset management (par 3 course, pavilion for example) are being decided and managed by a small group of voters.
Each owner of a property in EagleVail (e.g. husband and wife) who are over 18 and are residents of Colorado (even if not a resident of EagleVail itself) are eligible to vote
EagleVail is blessed with numerous important assets, many of which are being undermanaged for the benefit of our community.
With important water rights, a underutilized par three golf course on public land, a high potential but undermanaged Pavilion and direct access to the White River National Forest, the community deserves a board capable of managing its resources for the long term. A vote for me is a vote for someone who will advocate for our community as a whole based on facts and responsible analysis vs. the way things have always been done. I promise to do my best to manage these resources vs. selling them off and or sending projects and dollars to friends.
About me
Hi! I am a 36-year-old husband to Claire and new father to Sam (plus out dog, Gus). I have been a resident of Denver for 6 years and originally moved to Colorado for the outdoors and were quickly pulled to EagleVail. My wife and I purchased our property this past fall right ahead of welcoming Sam in early December, but have been renting for the past 2 winter seasons as well. We try to spend as much time as we can in the community and rent when we can’t be there. I have been a consultant at McKinsey & Company in our Denver office for the past 5 years with a focus on business turnarounds. In that role, I have been responsible for understanding numerous complex initiatives, analyzing potential courses of action with detailed financial and execution planning. I think my professional experience will greatly benefit the EagleVail community where decisions are not always fully thought through and decisions are made to give projects or jobs to friends when, cheaper, more effective solutions exist.
